Privacy

FlipDash is the inventory and profit tracker at flipdash.app for online shops. This page says what we keep, why we keep it, and how to reach us.

Your account

When you create an account we store the email address you sign up with, a password or the sign-in provider you choose, and the organization you belong to. If you invite staff, we store their email and the role you give them.

What you enter

The stock, serial numbers, costs, sales, customers, and notes you add are there so you can run your online shop in FlipDash. We use those records to show your inventory, sales, and profit. We do not sell them.

Payments

Paid plans are charged by our payment provider. The provider processes the card payment and tells us whether it went through, which plan you are on, and when the current period ends. FlipDash does not store your full card number.

Visitors

On the public site we keep a short record of visits so we can see which pages people open. That record includes the page, the referrer, an approximate location, the browser type, and a masked IP address. We do not store the full IP address. We delete these visit records after about 90 days.

How long we keep account data

We keep your account and the records in your organization while the account is open. If you ask us to close it, we delete the organization data we still hold, except a basic record of a payment when we need it to show what was billed.

Who else sees it

People you invite can see the parts of the organization their role allows. We use service providers to host the app, send email, and process payments. They handle data only so FlipDash can run. We also share information if the law requires it.
